The Path to Nowhere | Opening: June 12, 5 – 9 pm Through July 18
A duo exhibition featuring paintings of Errol Ortiz and Stanley Dean Edwards.

Ortiz, a Chicago-based Imagist painter, builds charged, symbol-rich images shaped by current events, social movements, pattern, humor, and unease. Edwards works through geometric abstraction, using structure, color, restraint, and repeated forms to create tension within order.

The opening reception on June 12, 5 - 9 pm will also include a screening of a short documentary on Errol Ortiz by On The Real Film in collaboration with Pentimenti Productions.

The film premiered at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago on May 26 as part of “4x4,” a series on Chicago artists.
